Vocational Rehabilitation
The purpose of this sector is to ensure that skilled personnel are available
to serve the vocational needs of healthcare facilities with through vocational rehabilitation
(VR), supported employment and independent living programs.
The program supports training and related activities designed to increase
the number of qualified personnel trained in providing high quality healthcare services.
These training programs vary in terms of content, methodology, and type of
trainee.
QAHM provides Comprehensive System of Personnel Development (CSPD) to ensure
there is an adequate supply of qualified staff for the healthcare facilities, to
assess personnel needs and make projections for future needs and to address the
current and projected personnel training needs.
